The Comment Bank Tags import links existing comment bank comments to tags, which group the comment bank by course, department, staff member, marking period or a school-defined category. This import requires the Registrar Full role. Follow the steps for Importing New Records.

| Comment_Bank_Comment_Id |
Yes |
Identifier |
"123" |
Must match an existing comment in Administrator > Comments & Marks > Bank Comments. A comment that contains a merge field (text in double square brackets) cannot be tagged in a category whose Comment Type is Course. |
Notes:
All five columns must be present in the file, even when a value is left blank.
Campus keeps one tag for each course, department, staff member and marking period in the matching category. The import links comments to those tags and does not create them.
Each distinct Comment_Bank_Tag_Name in the file is added to its User Defined category as a new tag, even when the category already has a tag with that name. To tag more comments with an existing User Defined tag, use the Comment Tags page for the comment in Administrator > Comments & Marks > Bank Comments.
A comment is linked to a given tag only once. If any row in the file is refused, nothing is imported.
