FAQ: Why is a field missing from a Campus form?

A field layout at your school is hiding the field for you or for one of your roles. Your school chooses which fields each group of people sees on each Campus form; see Field Layout.

Checking which layout applies
- A user with the Security Full role or a Full role on the form's module clicks the gear at the top right of the form's heading.
- The Field Layouts page lists the form's layouts, what each one hides, and who uses it.
- To show the field again, tick it under Fields shown in that layout and click Save, or move the person to another layout. See Configuring Field Layout.

Note: A field that holds a value on the record always shows, whatever the layout says. A field missing from a record that holds a value for it is hidden by something other than a field layout, usually the roles on your account.

Note: A hidden field still appears in lists, the Data Analytics Tool, exports and reports for anyone whose roles allow it.
