Configuring Twilio for Voice and Text Messages
PCR Educator provides the functionality to initiate voice calls and text messages to students, parents, and teachers. Please reach out to support@pcreducator.com to inquire about this service. 

This functionality is facilitated by our partner - Twilio through its  "Programmable SMS” and "Programmable Voice" products. Follow the steps below to configure an account through Twilio and connect it to PCR Educator.  

1. Apply for one 10-digit long code A2P 10DLC phone number from Twilio: https://www.twilio.com/en-us/a2p-10dlc
2. Obtain Credentials - through your Twilio Account Dashboard, retrieve the Account SID, the Authentication Token and the 10-digit long code A2P 10DLC phone number.
3. Update Information on Administrative End - Navigate to Security > Maintenance > Phone Configuration and populate SID, Token, Speaker, and Phone Number. Note: You will need the Security Full role to configure Twilio for Voice and Text Messages and Phone Full role to process voice/text notifications.

You are now ready to test voice and text messaging!  Note: Twilio is a third party subscription separate from PCR Educator with their own product and subscription fees.
