Fixed Assets may be acquired through Purchase Orders (POs). When a PO is fulfilled, an AP Invoice is created to process payment to the vendor. If the invoice includes capital purchases—such as equipment, machinery, or other long-term assets—you can create a fixed asset directly from that invoice.

To create a fixed asset from an AP Invoice:

     1. Navigate to the AP Invoice.
     2. Verify that the correct fixed asset GL Account is selected for each appropriate product.
     3. Navigate to the Fixed Asset tab.
     4. Enter the fixed asset details for each product.
     5. Click Save to create the fixed asset.
