LiveWrite API - Validate Import
The LiveWrite API ValidateImport method allows API users to validate import data before loading it into PCR Educator using LiveWrite API - Import Data or LiveWrite API - Update Data. This applies to both Importing New Records and Importing Data for Existing Records, helping identify errors or missing required fields ahead of time.

To use the ValidateImport method, API users must provide the username, password, school name, application ID, import name, forUpdate flag, and the data to be validated. 

Note: The forUpdate value must be set to 0 (Importing New Records) or 1 (Importing Data for Existing Records). 

Note: The application id can be accessed through your Campus bookmark link (appId=#).

Note: Import name can be accessed through LiveWrite API - Get Available Imports.

Once submitted, the method returns validation results indicating whether the data is ready for import or requires correction.
