Conditioning

Northwood School offers a fall conditioning program that meets 5 days per week.  The program is designed to prepare athletes for the upcoming winter athletic season.  This “preseason” sport is focused on the continuation of the athlete summer workout program leading into winter sports.  Conditioning allows athletes to build off of their summer strength program and continue to reach their optimum physical shape and form for the winter sport.  The conditioning program works on Power and Speed, Quickness and Agility, Sprint Training, Flexibility and Core Stabilization.  The combination of aerobic and anaerobic activities makes this the best way to continue summer fitness programs and maintain physical health throughout the fall.  Conditioning is offered for Juniors, Seniors, and PG’s only.
