A Substitute Staff member replaces an existing staff member in a class.

To add a substitute, first create their staff record by following the steps in the Creating Staff article. Then, use one of the following methods based on the situation:

     1. Managing Substitute Staff - Short Term – For brief absences, such as when a staff member is sick.
     2. Managing Substitute Staff - Long Term – For extended absences, such as leave of absence.
     3. Managing Substitute Staff - Replacement – For permanent replacements when a staff member leaves the school.
